Martin’s career set off In 1979, when he formed the new romantic band Spandau Ballet playing bass guitar. The group went on to tour the world and had a number of Top 20 hits in the 80’s. The single ‘True’ made the American Top 10.

By the late 80’s Martin had married Shirlie, one of the backing singers from Wham, and had started a family. He was then asked to star alongside his brother Gary in the film ‘The Krays’ which was a huge success. He then moved to Hollywood where he made several films! In 1998 he was offered the role of Steve Owen in the BBC’s Bafta Award winning drama series EastEnders. During that time Martin won numerous awards including Best Male Actor at the national TV Awards in both 2001.

His book ‘True – An Autobiography of Martin Kemp’ was published in 2000 and spent several months in the Sunday Times best sellers list. He and Shirlie have recently announced the release of their joint biography ‘A True Love Story’ which is out in October 2020.

In the summer 2016 he covered Graham Norton on BBC Radio 2 Saturday morning Show along side Fearne Cotton and has recently joined The Hits radio station to host the weekly ‘Greatest Hits’ show. Along with radio, Martin has also performed in theatre as Billy Flynnin the West End performance Chicago in 2018.

Martin has toured all over the UK with his popular ‘Audience With’. And now tours the country with his ‘Back to the 80’s’ DJ sets!

Martin appeared as a Judge on BBC’s entertainment show ‘Let it Shine’ and was a contestant on Celebrity’s The Island. He and Shirlie together, were part of a travel documentary, ‘The Road to Saigon’ and in 2019 released their first joint album ‘In The Swing of It’. More recently Martin and son Roman were part of the cast for Celebrity Gogglebox and hosted their morning ITV show ‘Weekend Best’

Music Festival.

The Millview Glamping & Camping site is the perfect place for an intimate family friendly festival.

It has the most glorious sunset, a magical woodland to dance in and an idyllic camp site to rest your head at the end of the day.

 

The afternoon sound track will be a laid back affair showcasing local talented musicians playing original and cover songs and eclectic DJs. When the sun goes down we will entertain you with Covers Bands and DJs, playing soul, funk, disco, pop, ska, reggae, house

80's & guilty pleasures, to make you dance your socks off!

Licensed bar open 12pm - 1am (non campers must vacate site at 1.30am). Selection of Street Food available From 12pm til 9pm (Also Boho BBQ open for breakfast from 9am til 11am).

Coffee & pastries truck also onsite for breakfast.

Wellness activites, yoga, pilates, sound bowls, massage.

Kids Disco, morning football coaching, bouncy castle, kids theatre show, kids crafts, face painting & upcycling lessons.

All bell tents are 5 metres in size and furnished to a beautiful standard (to include real beds and beautiful linen).

Boho Festival Questions & Answers

We cannot wait to welcome you to this beautiful, unique and bijou campsite with stunning views and sunset. Here’s some info and answers to questions you might have if the info you need isn’t here then don’t hesitate to contact us at info@bohemianevents.co.uk  

                

Can I bring my own Alcohol or Food?

You can only bring your own Alcohol and food if you are camping however, you are not allowed to bring it into the arena. If you have a ticket without camping you are not allowed to bring your own Food and Drinks onsite at all.

Is glass allowed on site?

Strictly no glass allowed anywhere on-site, including the campsite.

Can Campers Bring a BBQ?

Yes, BBQs are allowed but please no Campfires.  If the weather has been too dry and the grass becomes a fire concern, we will not allow any BBQs for safety reasons.

Are children welcome?

Yes.

Can under 18s camp on their own?

Yes, as long as their parents are onsite. However, we will be operating a strict challenge 21 policy at the bar. You will also need to purchase the relevant child camping pass.

Do I have to buy a vehicle pass?

No, there is a free carpark onsite

Can I park my car next to my tent?

 No

Can I drive to the campsite to unload?

Yes, you are allowed to unload cars strictly between 11 and 2pm.  Cars must be back in the carpark by 1.30 pm latest.

Can I bring my caravan or Motorhome?

Yes, it’s the same price per person as camping. There is no hook up and you must arrive between 10 and 1pm. The vehicles must stay on site until check out the following day.

What is the latest we can leave?

You must vacate the site by 12 Midday latest.

What facilities are there?

Bar, Toilets, Street food for the event. Coffee, Smoothie and Snack truck with Breakfast BBQ the next morning. Campsite has toilets and limited shower facilities.

 

Are there First Aiders on-site?

We do have First Aid support on-site if required, please ask any Steward, please visit the Main Entrance for assistance.

Is there disabled access to the site?

Yes, and also disabled toilets are available

Weather

This is predominately an outdoor event so please come prepared for any weather.

Can our dog come too? YES

Dogs are allowed on the campsite,

Well behaved dogs are allowed in the arena but must

remian on lead at all times. NOT NEAR DANCE FLOOR

Safety and lost property

If you have any cause for concern, find and inform a member of staff or a Steward for assistance immediately. We’re here to help and make sure you have the times of your life. Please respect and follow all site rules.

Please visit the Main Entrance for all lost and found items.

Where is the festival?

Nottinghamshire NG13 8HN The postcode will take you to the Farmhouse but BOHO is on East Bridgford Road, 500 metres on the right from the traffic lights on the A6097 going towards Newton.
